Fact 1:  Nepal is the only country in the modern world that does not have a rectangular (non-quadrilateral) national flag.

Fact 2: Apart from being the birth place of Lord Gautam Buddha, Nepal is also the home to the only living goddess in the world – The Kumari.

Fact 3: Nepal boasts the densest concentration of World Heritage sites. Kathmandu Valley alone has 7 UNESCO World Heritage sites within a radius of 15km.

Fact 4: Nepal has over 125 ethnic groups with about 45% of the population speaking Nepali.
