BNCT Annual Grant 2026

The Britain-Nepal Charitable Trust (BNCT) is the fundraising and grant-making arm of the Britain-Nepal Society (BNS). Set up in 2024, the BNCT is responsible for administering and making of the Annual Grant previously offered by BNS.

BNCT invites organisations working in Nepal to apply for a grant of up to £1,000 to support a project or initiative with charitable objectives benefiting Nepal and its people. Applications in the areas of health, education, the environment, gender equality, disaster relief, and community development are particularly welcome. Organisations applying for the BNCT Annual Grant must either be registered with the Charity Commission in the United Kingdom, or the Social Welfare Council in Nepal, and have an annual turnover of £25,000 or less.

Successful organisations will also receive one-year Honorary Membership of BRANNGO (Britain-Nepal NGO Network), providing them with access to a dynamic network of experience and expertise from a range of charities and NGOs working in Nepal.

Awardees will be expected to give a presentation to BNS on their work and provide a written report to BNCT within twelve months of receiving their grant. The report should include a financial statement (supported by receipts where possible or other proof of expenditure) and photographs of the work funded by the grant.

Recipients of a BNCT Annual Grant will be ineligible to apply for another BNCT Annual Grant until the third anniversary of their previous award. No organisation officially linked to any trustee of the BNCT or committee member of the BNS will be eligible to apply for a BNCT Annual Grant.

Applications for the 2026 BNCT Annual Grant should be made by completing the form below. The deadline for the Annual Grant 2026 submission is 31st August 2026.
