It is now more than 200 years since Gurkhas first served the British Crown by enlisting as soldiers and memorials have been a very emotive way of recording Gurkha loyalty and sacrifice on the battlefields of the world. This talk will tell the story of such Gurkha service and the memorials erected in their honour.
